About Us

Our Mission

Still We Rise Together CIC exists to restore dignity, joy, and connection to women who often feel unseen and unsupported.

We are a proudly diverse community, welcoming women from all backgrounds, cultures, and ethnicities. We stand alongside single mothers, mothers of children with additional needs, women going through difficult seasons, and women from minority communities — whilst warmly welcoming every woman who is seeking connection, support, and a place to truly belong.

Why We Exist

Too many women feel like they’re carrying everything alone. Caring for children, financial pressure, loneliness, or the challenges of raising a child with additional needs can leave mothers drained.

We believe community is the antidote to isolation. At Still We Rise Together, we don’t just run programmes we share life. We walk together, celebrate together, rest together, and rise together.

We are not just a leisure group. We use activities like group walks, pamper days, and birthday celebrations as innovative approaches to reduce loneliness, promote wellbeing, and build stronger communities.

Founder’s Note

"I know what it feels like to be lonely, tired, and unseen. I also know how powerful it is when women come togethe to talk, laugh, walk, rest, and celebrate one another.

I started Still We Rise Together to create the space I wished existed: a community where no woman feels forgotten, where birthdays are celebrated, where pamper days and walks remind us to breathe, and where every woman no matter her background feels valued, supported, and uplifted"

Who We Support

"This community is for every woman. Young women finding their feet. Mothers carrying more than they should carry alone. Women from diverse and minority backgrounds. Women navigating change, loss, or an uncertain season. Women who simply need someone to talk to and somewhere safe to breathe. Whatever brought you here — you belong here."

Safeguarding & Referrals

We provide peer-based support, not professional therapy. Where specialist help is needed, we refer to trusted local services. Our full safeguarding policy is available upon request.

Safeguarding & Referrals

We are not mental health professionals. Where women need additional specialist support, we connect them to trusted centres and services.
